Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of router.taxi (“Router”), including its website, REST API, MCP server, provider handoffs, and related services.

What Router provides

Router provides planning estimates, approximate provider coverage, route handoffs, and trip-state tools. Unless expressly labeled otherwise, estimates are not live provider quotes, service availability is not guaranteed, and a handoff is not a booking.

Third-party ride services

Ride providers control their availability, pricing, eligibility, booking, payment, safety processes, cancellations, and service. Provider terms apply when you use their products. Router is not a transportation carrier and is not affiliated with or endorsed by a listed provider merely because it offers a handoff.

Accounts, agents, and credentials

You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys. Keep credentials confidential, give agents only the scopes they need, and revoke a credential you believe is exposed. An agent acting with your key is treated as authorized by you within that key’s scopes.

Acceptable use

Do not use Router to violate law or provider terms, bypass security, scrape restricted systems, harass others, create fraudulent bookings, interfere with the service, or expose another person’s location or credentials without authorization. We may rate-limit, suspend, or block abusive activity.

Trip status and user decisions

Router labels rider- and agent-reported outcomes separately from provider-verified events. You must review the provider’s live price, pickup, destination, accessibility details, and final booking terms before confirming a ride. Router will not intentionally book or charge a ride without an explicit authorized action.

Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Router disclaims implied warranties and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, accurate third-party data, vehicle availability, or a particular fare. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
